Responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders and their leadership including technology, software and product leaders
- Managing teams of developers (we call them “crafters”) and designers, ensuring well running, self organized teams
- Leading delivery of agile custom design and development software projects (scoping, issues/risk management, quality management, continuous improvement, etc.)
- Partnering with development, design, and product leadership
- Participating in account planning to help drive revenue growth in the accounts you manage.
- Making immediate contributions to projects, rapidly building trust with all stakeholders and clients
- Providing coaching, career guidance and formal feedback to team members
- Ensuring your team has a healthy, prioritized, estimated backlog
- Managing high-level project roadmaps as the team lead for large engagements
- Contributing to 8th Light internally, including but not limited to: sharing knowledge (e.g. by leading or designing workshops), representing 8th Light in the tech community, supporting our hiring processes, etc
