Description:

Delivery Manager – ATE (Data Centre of Excellence) (Technology), Full-Time, Permanent, Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, LU5 5XE (Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office)
As the Delivery Manager – ATE (Data Centre of Excellence), you will play a pivot role in maintaining the reliability and integrity of our pricing system (ATE) by managing the backlog and data delivery workstreams for our pricing system from Release/Sprint Planning, Product Enhancement through to Governance and Compliance to ensure operations and optimising overall service quality.

The core purpose of the role is to manage delivery of the Product Backlog and data delivery workstreams of strategic projects/programmes for our yield management product, i.e., Automated Trading Engine (ATE) to ensure availability of product for pricing runs in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:

Salary: £69,000pa-£75,000pa, plus a car or car allowance and up to 30% company performance-based bonus
Contract Type: Full-Time and Permanent
Location: Dunstable, Bedfordshire (LU5 5XE) and a hybrid way of working with a minimum of 3 days in the office

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, release planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of Data backlog items/project workstreams
  • Day to day engagement with stakeholder groups across Functions, Brands, IT SMEs and external IT Suppliers to ensure all parties are aligned on expectations, timelines and delivery status.
  • Ensure compliance with IT and business governance standards.
  • Finance and project reporting to keep stakeholders at all levels engaged and onboard.
  • Evaluate progress of the releases on a frequent basis and make timely interventions as needed to drive down risk and manage issues/ dependencies
  • Own the discovery activity to shape options for future capabilities
  • Manage third-party supplier deliverables to time, cost and quality

What you’ll need:

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Project management practices and methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple backlog items, assign and manage work activities, meet deadlines and develop comms/reporting in a timely and effective manner.
  • Project planning, budget planning and resource management
  • Engineering processes and practices to build products with sound and measurable instrumentation
  • Agile delivery methodologies such as SAFe
  • Engineering background of developing business critical products and platforms
