Responsibilities:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring that they are productive and focused.
- Acting as a hybrid of Product Owner and Scrum Master, the Delivery Manager balances strategic alignment with hands-on execution, supporting teams in delivering high-quality outcomes while fostering a structured transition to agile ways of working
- Support and mentor the team in agile practices, helping then to adopt and improve their processes and mindset.
- Oversee activity timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable tracking to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and to the agreed scope.
- Track and report on team performance metrics, providing insights into progress and areas for improvement.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other departments to enhance innovation and problem-solving.
- Promote agile principles and practices throughout the organisation, helping to drive a culture of agility.
- Engaging with stakeholders regularly to gather feedback and align to project goals with business objectives.
- Cultivating a positive team culture that encourages ownership, accountability, and a growth mindset.
What we are looking for:
- The Application Delivery Manager is a skilled person who focuses on making things happen, responsible for ensuring their teams have everything they need to succeed.
- Demonstrated experience at managing stakeholders and are responsible for coordinating across multiple departments to remove any impediments.
- Skilled at managing activities such as support, enhancement and maintenance tasks in creating a centralised avenue for requests providing end to end management of those work activities.
- Significant experience in an aggressive growth strategy, resulting in an increasing demand and complexity on the technology landscape.
