Description:

Supermetrics is looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Product Development Team in Helsinki or Dublin. You can also work fully remotely from the UK.
Delivery Managers at Supermetrics partner with product, engineering & design teams to deliver product initiatives. These initiatives span a complex product roadmap, delivering outcomes to drive the evolution of Supermetrics from a pipeline to a platform.
You’ll have the chance to flex your delivery toolkit across the SDLC, as being in charge of the ‘when’ means the opportunity to drive workstreams through Ideation, Discovery, Delivery and Adoption. Managing stakeholders and clear communication is second nature to you, and you’ll come from a technical background delivering all types of platforms, products & services.
The ability to change, adapt and be fluid in ambiguous situations is key, whilst being able to build consensus and understanding amongst teams to drive key outcomes and successful delivery is all in your wheelhouse. Agile coaching is also something you can apply pragmatically by giving a ‘just enough’ process for teams to apply in their day-to-day.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the delivery of software initiatives for cross-functional teams, using emotional intelligence to understand and apply a delivery-first mindset
  • Drives a continuous improvement culture in implementing best practices when it comes to team or program delivery
  • Has the ability to context switch at speed, work through ambiguity, provide clear delivery direction and partner with the engineering, product & design managers to drive outcomes
  • Be able to understand complex engineering concepts and explain them simply and clearly to a non-technical audience
  • Coordinates and drives quarterly roadmap planning to ensure all teams have their next quarter planned effectively well before the quarter starts
  • Act as an agile coach and team facilitator as and when needed, have a solid understanding of agile concepts, and be able to explain them without resorting to buzzwords
  • Tracks, improves and reports upwards on team velocity and performance
  • Work in partnership with the cross-functional team leads to identify, track and mitigate dependencies, risks & uncertainties whilst ensuring accurate reporting and visibility up and down the organization
  • Is a team advocate, understanding & reporting on team health through the SDLC whilst protecting the team as and when needed
