Description:
£40,000 - £65,000 + Yearly Bonus + Hybrid Working: Depending on experience. This is a key position within our business; we are looking for the right individual to help grow our Delivery capability within the i3Works business.
OVERVIEW:
We deliver measurable value for clients across defence, private and public sector environments. We have an extensive range of service capabilities and expertise provided by our best-in-class team which we are seeking to expand. We are looking for both passionate Delivery Management experts to deliver for our clients and help shape our capability offering across the i3Works business.
The work will be varied, stretching and you will have the chance to shape decisions that will have significant strategic influence on the business and our clients’ businesses. You will lead, guide and influence stakeholders and teams using effective communication, and utilisation of your discipline to the agreed delivery strategy. This is an outward-facing role requiring effective leadership and stakeholder engagement together with well-developed collaborative working practices.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Agile working: Experience in leading delivery teams using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and an understanding of how to apply agile principles in a complex, scaled environment.
- Stakeholder management: Proven ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Leadership and coaching: Experience in leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
- Project delivery: Strong track record of delivering complex digital projects and programs, with experience in managing scope, risks, budgets, and timelines.
- Problem-solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, make informed decisions, and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Financial management: Experience in managing project budgets, ensuring effective financial controls are in place, and delivering value for money.
- DDaT delivery: A deep understanding of the Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) professions and the skills required to deliver digital transformation in government.
- Experience of working within a Defence or Public Sector environment
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Supplier management: Experience managing external suppliers, ensuring they deliver high-quality products and services in line with contractual agreements.
- Previous consulting experience preferred
- Experience working with GDS frameworks is desirable but not essential.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in digital delivery, technology, or related disciplines: Agile, Prince2, Scrum Master or SAFe are highly desirable.
- Already holds or will be expected to achieve Security Clearance
Responsibilities:
Our consultants are expected to work in a hybrid environment, in accordance with our clients. We require our people to be within an easily commutable distance of our Bristol office and to be able to co-locate at our client locations, which are typically 50 miles of Bristol or along the M4 corridor. New clients are always coming on board, and we require our consultants to be able to work flexibly and wherever this work requires.
