Delivery Manager, Technology – Buenos Aires, Argentina

Responsibilities:
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supporting LACA applications and Owned Stores applications globally.
- Responsible for team management, performance reviews, compensations and promotions.
- Resonsible for vendor management, governance and contract management with Sourcing & Legal areas.
- Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain the software in support of all systems in application maintenance and enhancements domains.
- Provides guidance, planning and maintains budgets and proactively allocates resources and time for the functions supported.
- Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers
- Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
- Apply Agile methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality by maintaining 80% and unit test coverage and 70% integration test coverage
- Partnering with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore in delivering applications new functionalities successfully, managing the technical resources, reporting to executive management, tracking financials, hosting weekly meetings, monitoring on-going risks and issue resolution.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of planning, organizational structure, along with experience partnering with the technology and business managers to ensure needs are implemented efficiently.
- 8+ years of IT experience
- Experience in a financial services/payments /Banking verticals will be highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
- Prior experience leading onshore and offshore delivery, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teams.
- Advanced knowledge of software development life cycles (waterfall, agile, etc.)
- Strong Customer Centric mindset with an ability to outperform Service Level Agreements on Customer satisfaction and experience.
- Prior experience in managing vendor relationships.
- Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can do attitude; possess strong leadership skills in guiding and directing teams throughout the SDLC process
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
- Strong Customer Centric mindset with an ability to outperform Service Level Agreements on Customer satisfaction and experience.
- English is a must.
