ABOUT YOU

We are looking for the right person, with a good attitude who will be a solid team fit with the following skills and experiences: -

  • Multi-year experience in a senior project coordination, portfolio analyst, or senior support role in large scale programmes.
  • Experience working in environments with a mix of delivery methodologies, with particular exposure to enterprise agile delivery.
  • Experience in facilitating and supporting delivery, plans and change associated with technology delivery and business improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in cost management, budgeting, and forecasting at large program level
  • Proven experience on planning and/or portfolio governance experience in complex business environments.
  • Demonstrated ability in operating with complexity, ambiguity and responding to change.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect planning, prioritisation and sequencing within a complex environment.
  • Proven ability to support solutions that deliver value for customers, business, and our people in a complex environment
  • Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with using tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, Tableau, Microsoft 365 tools
  • Experience in program/steering committee level reporting, program financial management and planning
  • Pragmatic, hands-on, can-do attitude. With a strong leaning towards self-starting, coaching, facilitation and likes to lead by example.
  • Qualifications such as / or similar to- CaPM - PMI Certified Associate in Project Management, CSM - Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, MSP and/or MoP.

Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for Deliver Specialist (titled as Specialist, Value Stream Delivery) to join the Portfolio Execution & Deliver Practise team. The purpose of the role is to ensure the application of the systems and processes to support the execution of strategic change in a Value Stream. It is a senior capability role and will work very closely with the Value Stream Director, supporting initiatives through all phases of delivery. As part of this role, you will ensure effective financial and scope management, reporting, governance, planning, and risk/issue management expectations alongside embedding and maturing processes and practices across the Value Stream.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role will be: -

  • Facilitate work item selection, prioritisation, planning, and sequencing.
  • Support value stream decisions aligned with business strategy.
  • Assist with regular planning routines (e.g., quarterly and financial year planning).
  • Operate governance practices, providing an integrated view of delivery activity and performance.
  • Own the delivery of clear communications and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate aggregation of key data extracts and reporting, e.g. financial management.
  • Collaborate actively with project and program managers to maintain a transparent backlog of work and key dependencies.
  • Evaluate pipeline opportunities (across technology and business) and recommend delivery pathways.
  • Engage with Initiative Leads to ensure an accurate integrated roadmap across the value stream.
  • Embed enterprise tools, adhere to best practices, and adopt modern delivery methods.
