The demand and supply chain analyst is responsible to execute the demand planning activities to assure accurate demand signals for the supply planning processes: statistical modeling and scenario analysis integrating market intelligence factors that affect the forecasts; identify and improve forecast variances ensuring to reach targeted forecast metrics. This role is also responsible for ensuring successful performance of the supply processes for the assigned portfolio of products and participate and support the Demand Manager in the preparation of the S&OP meetings.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Prepare and submit rolling forecast trough Rapid Response system on time.
- Report monthly the KPIs of the Demand & Supply Chain area, as FCA, BIAS, write-off, sales, backorder, and supply availability.
- Work with the E2E Supply Chain Team to avoid any product out of stocks, mitigating any possible supply disruption.
- Batch release follow-up with quality team ensuring the good communication flow within the stakeholders.
- Keep updated the monthly forecast in Rapid Response System. Accomplish all planning calendar requirements on time.
- Prepare the BFRs / Obsolete / S&OP file to support the meeting with commercial and marketing team.
- Follow up the next deliveries to ensure the right level of inventory.
- Support New Product Launches / Transfers from demand and local supply perspective.
- Support Demand Manager in Market S&OP Meeting preparation.
- Assure proper supply master data set up and maintenance.
The basic qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in industrial Engineer, Business Administration, or similar careers.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience on Demand and Supply processes.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English at least 80% fluent.
- Capability to multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge in use and leveraging of ERP systems and reporting tools (E.g., SAP, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint. Rapid Response & Power BI is a Plus).
- Motivated individual with strong self-directed capabilities as well as strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Skills: Teamwork, customer focus, interpersonal relationships and resilient.
- Strong organizational skills.
The preferred qualifications for this role are:
- Strong analytical, data-processing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to negotiate and secure cooperation across multiple roles and functions towards specific objectives.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end supply chain processes.
- Experience in using Rapid Response for Demand or Supply Planning.
