The Position

ROLE OVERVIEW
Join our dynamic team in Roche Diagnostics Italy as Demand and Supply Planner, where you will be at the heart of our mission to ensure seamless demand and supply planning, accurate sales forecasting, and exceptional customer service. As a key role, you will co-create strategies to manage product life-cycles, guarantee business continuity, safeguarding customer experience and satisfaction. You will also be instrumental in developing and executing demand and supply planning strategies, ensuring that these are adaptable to changes in demand patterns and supply chain dynamics.This role is essential in managing risks, optimising cash flow, and emphasising sustainability, efficiency, and customer centricity, all while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build accurate sales forecasts, utilising advanced forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future sales and inventory needs;
- Actively contribute to the execution of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, driving improved forecasting and managing the product portfolio:
- Work closely with local, regional and global key stakeholders, suppliers and partners to ensure the seamless execution of planning processes, including superior management of product availability shortage occurrences;
- Track and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising overstocking;
- Evaluate market dynamics and trends and provide insightful reports to the organisation, enabling data-driven decisions that prioritise customer needs;
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and support the implementation of best practices, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, local, regional and global projects and training programs with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction;
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements as well as all planning activities are adherent to guidelines, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of planning processes and inventory records;
- Address and facilitate the resolution of issues that arise in planning and production, escalating complex problems when necessary, always with the customer experience in mind;
- Engage with stakeholders to enhance our supply offering and planning consultancy, while ensuring the best value and service for our customers, is a key responsibility;
- Embracing technology and digitalization is essential. You will leverage planning software and tools to enhance efficiency and support initiatives to increase digitalization and automation adoption, ultimately improving the customer experience.
