THE OPPORTUNITY:

Pole Star Global is seeking a dynamic and experienced Performance Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, optimizing, and executing performance marketing activities. You will primarily be in charge of Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, ensuring they support our broader marketing strategies, including email campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), events, and webinars. This role is ideal for a seasoned performance marketing professional with a proven track record of delivering impactful results.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid number of years experience in performance marketing, preferably in the technology/software industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working remotely and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel on occasion (with notice).

Additional Skills: (Nice to have skills which are not mandatory)

  • Experience in the maritime technology industry would be a plus but not mandatory.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, research and implementation: Establish and set up Google Ads from scratch, including creating ad accounts, keyword research, competitor analysis, configuring campaigns, and implementing tracking mechanisms.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Collaborate with Line of Business Marketing Leads to plan, optimize, and execute performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Integration with Broader Strategies: Ensure that Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads support and enhance wider marketing strategies, such as email campaigns, ABM, events, and webinars.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimisation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of performance marketing initiatives. Analyze data to identify areas for optimisation and improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Market Research and Insights: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth. Utilize insights to inform performance marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and creative, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Content Development: Assist in developing ad creatives, landing pages, and other content to support performance marketing efforts.
  • Customer Advocacy: Gather and leverage customer feedback and success stories to improve campaign effectiveness and drive customer retention.
