Description:

OUR CLIENT IS LEADING PLAYER IN THE FMCG INDUSTRY. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A DEMAND PLANNER TO ASSIST THEIR TEAM FOR THE NEXT PHRASE OF THEIR BUSINESS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST ARE – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily operations and coordinate with 3PL warehouses to resolve inbound and outbound issues.
  • Coordinate special operations with 3PLs, like transloading, to optimize goods movement.
  • Start outbound order processing with 3PLs based on demand and logistics plans.
  • Investigate and report damaged goods incidents.
  • Advise logistics planners on products to be returned to a site based on stock needs, optimizing storage space and product mix.
  • Maintain and update the emergency distribution plan.
  • Develop detailed demand and capacity forecasts for goods.
  • Create weekly resource forecasts based on stock arrival schedules and rotation strategies.Produce weekly forecasts on site utilization rates to predict when a site will reach full capacity.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, focusing on warehouse operations or stockpile management.
  • Strong understanding of 3PL operations and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet software (Excel preferred) for data analysis and forecasting.
