The company chose Panama as being best suited to establish its new Global Business Services (GBS) operation center. This new center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones. Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. This new GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting. In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives. POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Demand Planner Coordinator NA requires cross-functional coordination between various groups, with emphasis on partnering with the Regional Demand Team, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance and CRSM.
This role combines strategic planning and decision making with deep data insights and analysis and is responsible for developing, maintaining and improving a comprehensive Demand Plan to ensure seamless alignment of the Demand Plan with trends and expected activations/building blocks through the IBP process.
This role needs to proactively identify and effectively manage exceptions, closely monitor performance to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan.
Qualifications

SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Planning, Brand, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial stakeholders.
  • Ability to strategically identify and validate regional / affiliate industry trends and building blocks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Execution oriented – thrive under pressure with a demonstrated ability to get things done.
  • Strong attention to detail – ability to accurately manage, update, maintain large datasets.
  • Highly analytical – able to conduct complex demand planning or statistical analysis providing high quality / accurate output.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related or quantitative field (Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or similar discipline)
  • Direct experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in Planning, preferably in a Demand Planning role
  • Experience with advanced Excel
  • Experience in shifting priorities, while maintaining organization and control
  • Experience in strategic planning within emerging product categories
  • Desirable experience in Tableau/Power BI/visualization tools
  • Experience in communicating data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders
  • Experience in large & complex global organizations
  • Experience with forecasting tools (e.g. o9, Forecast pro, Logility etc.)
  • Experience with statistical forecasting methods and forecast accuracy metrics
  • Experience with mature S&OP processes

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product managers, marketing & sales, analytics and financial teams to drive accurate demand planning and identify growth initiatives based on robust forecast models.
  • Forecast and track sales performance.
  • Own the actuals vs forecast and goal performance analysis, drive identification of root causes and plan mitigation measures for gaps.
  • Share forecast assumptions and impact of strategic activities (sales drivers/commercial building blocks) to make the best forecast decisions.
  • Drive implementation of tools and techniques for continuous forecast accuracy improvement by analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, dependencies, correlations.
  • Present brand performance with business & operational leaders.
  • Own the gap management alignment for the brand in NA.
