Our European Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) department has the European responsibility for long term demand, supply, and S&OP planning in Nilfisk. We are these years on a journey to transform S&OP into a truly cross-functional decision making process in Nilfisk, balancing supply and demand, providing Nilfisk with ONE reliable plan to increase End2End to value.
We are looking for a young and ambitious team player to drive our demand planning process within the EMEA region. The primary role of the demand planner is to ensure the execution of the commercial side of Nilfisk’s S&OP process, this in close collaboration with sales, marketing & finance. All of this with a strong cross-functional collaboration mindset towards a wide range of stakeholders within Nilfisk.
Main tasks being:
- Develop and review demand plans with country and regional stakeholders.
- Drive demand plan review and consolidation in collaboration with key stakeholder in sales, marketing & finance.
- Ensure alignment between demand plan and financial budgets.
- Collect past/future demand inputs (such as new customers, marketing plans, price changes, new/discontinued products and promotional plans). Consolidating their impacts in the overall demand plan.
- Communicate recommended demand adjustments with clearly defined reasons and logic.
- Ability to create multiple demand scenarios that impact the business needs/expectations.
- Communicate supply constraints in an effective way, increasing sales awareness of the capabilities of Operations & Services.
- Drive improvements of our tools and data reports to give insight to the organization.
- Continuously monitor forecast accuracy and identify improvement areas and actions to be taken.
- Collaborate closely with our Sales and Operation Managers, ensuring that demand plan changes are leading to evaluation of supply capabilities towards our factories and suppliers globally.
- Contribute to the development of the presentation and slide deck for the monthly Executive S&OP meeting with participation of our CEO and Nilfisk Leadership Team.
You will play an important role in our team to continuously develop and enhance the way we work getting us closer to our ambition of a truly excellent customer-driven supply chain.
You are an experienced professional with 3+ years of experience within Supply Chain and hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management, Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering or equivalent. Further it is an advantage if you:

Are a skilled user of ERP systems, preferably SAP APO and R/3 (ECC) or SAP IBP.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Are skilled in use of MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate to key business insights.
- Are able to interact with all functional areas and all organizational levels.
- Have insights in performance management tools and operational KPI’s.
- Have great interpersonal skills – being a team player and strong in stakeholder management.
- Have the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
- Ambitious and willing to learn and grow rapidly!
