Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years related work experience, preferably in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods). Specific Demand Planning experience highly preferred, which could include sales planning, production scheduling/operations planning, and/or demand planning & forecasting
- A University degree is required: Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Analytics or related field
- Advanced Excel knowledge is required.
- Power BI, Data Science, APICS/ASCM or IBF Certification would be an asset. Project Management experience would be an asset.
- Passionate about working with large sets of data and transforming this data into critical information and insight to support business decisions
- Ability to present a customer-back and consumer-first mindset to a broad array of stakeholders
This is a remote role based out of Ontario and will be offering a salary based on experience between $90,000 - $116,800. Thank you for your interest in Natures Path!
Responsibilities:
- This position will support our exponential sales growth by working cross functionally with key team members in our Sales and Operations groups to ensure availability of the right product at the right place at the right time, with heavy emphasis on implementing industry recognized best practices, internal and external collaboration and teamwork, and a sense of urgency.
- This position is responsible for creating, validating, gaining cross functional alignment on, and communicating a demand plan for all products
- Partner with the sales team to ensure sales forecast assumptions are validated and unresolved issues are escalated appropriately
- Prepare for ad-hoc support of the demand review meeting to explain and detail consensus plan and make any final updates based on outcome of S&OP process
- Influence key business partners by leveraging data to develop the best in class forecast
- Support the build of Demand Planner Tool and be subject matter expert of this tool to deliver an accurate Item/DC level forecast for Supply Chain
- Monitor shipment performance versus the item level forecast and determine root-cause to improve accuracy
- Perform special projects as assigned by the Senior Sales Operations Manager
- Participate/lead continuous improvement projects as it relates to forecasting
- Provide high-level communication to executive team regarding opportunities for growth.
- Analyze results achieved against objectives and initiate action to optimize performance.
