A bout the role
We offer you the chance to become a part of the Business Logistics team that secures forecast, orders to our consumer goods customers and the masterdata behind it. Our role is to manage and optimize the Business Logistics within the region according to the business requirements. As a demand planner you have the role in translating the commercial needs into accurate demand plans in terms of forecasting towards our producing organizations to fulfil our customer’s needs. As a solution specialist you have the key role in managing our customers’ orders and to make sure our material data and customer data are correct in our systems so our logistic processes run smoothly.
The position is temporary for minimum 12 months, starting date is a.s.a.p., and location is based in Espoo, Finland, with the opportunity of hybrid working model (3 days working from office, 2 days working remote/week), and you will report to the Regional Demand Manager.

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in Business administration or similar (bachelor’s degree is a minimum requirement)
• Experience working with Demand/Supply/Production Planning in a similar role.
• Experience of S&OP process is an advantage.
• Previous experience of SAP APO/IBP or similar ERP system is an advantage.
• Ability to use Excel as a tool for decision making in a various complex analysis.
• Fluent in English and Finnish, both written and verbal
• Customer and Consumer focus
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach towards challenges

• Generate accurate base and promotional demand plans at multiple levels of aggregation in SAP IBP.
• Analyse all relevant data to deliver accurate demand plans to ensure efficient supply chain execution and fulfilment of our customer needs.
• Secure the local understanding and agreement on the demand planning processes with the commercial organizations.
• Lead the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process by leading the demand reviews together with Commercial teams according to the agreed S&OP guidelines.
• Establish systematic analysis to understand the main drivers for deviations, secure that root cause analysis is done, deviations are defined, and action plans are carried out to improve defined Key Performance Indicators like Forecast Accuracy and Bias.
• Secure excellent SAP IBP master and Life Cycle Management data handling by regular data updates and History/CVC cleaning.
• Drive and secure an excellent Phase in / Phase out process to avoid leftovers and service level issues.
• Market lead of the monthly non & slow mover process.
• Identify and contribute to the continuous improvement opportunities in relation to demand planning.
