REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a relevant functional discipline, ideally with supply chain management qualification ( i.e. CPIM or CSCP).
  • Well organized , systematic, and rigorous approach to planning work and priorities. Excellent influencing and inter-personal skills
  • Data driven, with strong analytical and IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Excel & PowerPoint, ideally VBA and Power BI ); strong understanding of ERP (Dynamics AX / SAP), MRP software, and Power BI; creation and refinement of forecasting models within planning software tools- ideally SO99+ or Imperia.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Demand Planning, t he Demand Planning Analyst will play a pivotal role in effectively translating commercial information from a variety of sources into a high-accuracy demand forecast to ensure all supply chains and value streams are provided with a clearly defined and modelled consensus forecast that allows clear actions to be made. Key responsibilities will include:

  • D esign ing and model ling forecasts to meet current and future build rate readiness
  • Participate in the IBP rhythm and routine and lead workstreams that shine a light on forecast gaps.
  • Preparing unconstrained forecasts to be reviewed by Sales, Marketing (and customers) and provide input/modifications.
  • Reaching a common plan with marketing, sales, financial, and supply chain views and agreement on market assumptions. Input on Product lifecycle changes, particularly new product launch plans
  • Cleaning and preparation of sales history to generate a statistical forecast including use of algorithms
  • Translat e sales forecast into mid to long term planning data that can be fed into ERP and used in supply planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
  • Managing the demand planning part of the monthly IBP cycle. organizing the meetings, ensuring all inputs and outputs are prepared and shared
  • Manage periodic process of re-classification of product service classes (ABC-XYZ) as well as Make-to-order and Make-to-stock decisions.
