Description:

The pay range for this position is $100,000-$145,000/annually. This is a remote based position.
FreshRealm is hiring an experienced Demand Planning Manager. As a Demand Planning Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving our supply chain efficiency and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand across multiple channels and markets. You will utilize your expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and supply chain management to develop and implement robust strategies that support our business objectives. You will be a key ingredient in identifying and implementing strategic improvements with the operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize financial targets, sales data, promotional calendar, and strong analytics to develop item-level forecasting for multiple time horizons, products, and channels.
  • Regularly evaluate forecast vs. actuals to enable dynamic adjustment, inform business insights, and drive corrective action.
  • Develop and improve statistical, automated forecast models & tools based on historical trends and anticipated demand drivers by integrating multiple data systems and partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Standardize and analyze raw data from ERP and external systems to determine weekly demand to support availability targets, check data integrity, and balance inventory across our fulfillment warehouses and production facilities.
  • Partner with Buying and Production Planning teams to update forecast inputs and provide forecast accuracy reporting and root cause analysis.
  • Assisting in developing annual budgets and streamlining costs
  • Schedule regular forecast review meetings with management
  • Support new product forecasts, informing initial launch inventory strategy, and optimizing inventory flow and locations to support the delivery of finished goods to the customer.
  • Lead regular inventory level assessments to minimize warehouse storage costs across all channels and ensure inventory levels are optimal to meet demand.

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced skills in Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with demand planning software and inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated business oriented independent thinker
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English including the ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time

Experience / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in demand planning, supply chain management, or related roles within a fast-paced retail or consumer goods environment.
  • 5-7 years direct experience planning in a manufacturing plant using MRP system
  • APICS, CIPM, or NAPM, CPM certification preferred
