REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in economics or management engineering or Data Science or Statistical
- 2-3 years experience in demand planning (any supply planning position experience is a plus)
- Ability to process and analyze sales data
- Knowledge of the planning process, both Demand and Supply planning
- Knowledge of the different sales channels and experience in B2B channels is a plus
- Knowledge of KPIs related to the forecasting process (FA, Bias)
- MS Office (advanced usage of Excel, VBA is a plus)
- PowerBI advanced usage
- Demand Planning systems (like SAP APO, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, InforDMP …)
- English proficiency, Italian B1<

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
We are seeking a Demand Planner who, alongside the Demand Planner Coordinator, will be responsible for improving the accuracy and reliability of the consolidated demand plan within a growing business context, managing exceptions in collaboration with Central Planning to best meet market demand.
Actively involved in the SOP process with a focus on Forecast Review meetings, consolidating and sharing optimal demand insights with commercial teams, and focusing on key critical channels and categories.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Forecast Review Meetings with Sales at the Country level
- Support the development and improvement of the Demand Planning process, in terms of ownership, and engagement of the stakeholder
- Develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan at the SKU level, at the Month level for specific markets/Channels/Categories assigned, for both short/mid-term horizon (4-month rolling forecast) and long-term horizon (18-month rolling forecast)
- Weekly/daily monitoring of actual sales vs forecast vs budget
- Analyze historical data and statistical forecasts, manage business opportunities in fast and growing markets
- Analyze the forecast accuracy and bias results at the Country/Channel/Category level and propose actions to achieve and improve those KPIs
- Close collaboration with the Central Planning Team, to analyze and support any situation in terms of capacity and to guarantee the best service level to the Customer
- Active contribution to the Go Live of the new Demand planning tool (Infor DMP)
- Close collaboration with IT, to develop new Demand Dashboards and Reporting (SAC – SapAnalytic Cloud or Power BI)
- Support New Product Introduction and Item Switcher
