As a Dental Receptionist at frssh dental, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they walk in or contact us. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of our dental studio by handling administrative tasks, managing patient appointments, and facilitating communication between patients, clinical staff, payor (insurance) and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required: Previous 2 years of experience in a dental receptionist- front desk role.
  • Preferred Bachelors or Associate Degree in Healthcare Admin/Hospitality/Business
  • Experience with Curve PMS(Hero, Gro) dental practice management software is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse individuals in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient care.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: From $22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 24 – 44 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel comfortable and valued.
  • Manage patient appointments, confirmations, and cancellations using our scheduling software, ensuring optimal utilization of clinical resources.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and courteously, providing accurate information and assistance as needed.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, collect co-payments, and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely delivery of care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and inventory management as required.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and care providers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
