OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the office. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
EXPERIENCE
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Dental assisting techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is preferred.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems related to dental applications is beneficial.

Pay: $22.50-$25.50 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and office efficiency.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.
