Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work on weekends.
FT/ Part Time/ Single Day/ Half Day work.
Flexible hours.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with dental software systems such as Open Dental
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and imaging techniques is beneficial.
  • Experience in pediatrics or working with children in a dental setting is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays, CBCT Scan) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification using systems like Open Dental
  • Stay updated on medical terminology related to dentistry, including endodontics and medical imaging.
