JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Oasis Dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong attention to detail, proficiency in dental assisting, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Open Dental is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with co-workers and patients of all ages.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Two Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and maintaining inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
