Position Summary
We are searching for an entry level Dental Claim Associate to review, investigate, and analyze dental claims information, process dental claims, answer member calls meeting quality and daily production requirements, make outbound calls to members & providers, analyze, and respond to requests for information, and set challenging goals. There are also advancement opportunities and be promoted to the next level on the Claims Career Ladder.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Up to 12 months dental claims processing in an insurance company or dental billing in a dental office or exposure to dental billing in a dental office.
  • Telephone customer service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work in an environment with quality and production requirements.
  • Able to perform and work on multiple tasks.
  • Able to use technology and navigate within computer systems and applications.
  • Must be able to work 8:15 – 5:00 p.m. onsite M-Th during training and move to a hybrid work schedule (2 days in the office, 3 days at home) post-training. 100% remote work isn’t an option.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in relevant field.
  • Dental terminology certificate or dentistry coursework

Essential Physical Requirements

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
  • This job is sedentary work, and the worker sits most of the time; therefore, the job is rated for light work.
