JOB SUMMARY:

Delivery of complex clinical workload
To work as part of the team to provide an efficient Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Orthodontic Service to the trust.
Help with training and supervision of new and temporary staff to the department.
To always act in a manner consistent with the GDC Code of Professional Conduct carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.

Patient reception, assisting clinicians in specialist treatment of maxillofacial and orthodontic patients. Carry out treatment and assisting in the supervision of patients until fit to leave the premises.
Liaising with secretaries/receptionists regarding appointments and administration.
Organise and maintain surgery equipment and materials.
Care and maintenance of electronic equipment, liaising with the medical equipment service department.
