Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental office environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and proficiency with dental and general computer software, including Abeldent, Adobe Acrobat, and Word.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with dental terminology relevant to dental practices.
- Proficient in using phone systems and electronic dental records software (experience with Abeldent is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting necessary information and payments.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Ensure the front office area is organized, clean, and welcoming for patients.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth operations within the practice.
- Complete dental reports to be reviewed by the Dentist.
