Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks of our dental office. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and proficiency in handling various office technologies.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records software; experience with Dentrix or Epic is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.

SALARY WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software such as tracker.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information about services and procedures.
  • Ensure hygiene schedule is full at all times.
  • Recalls
  • Maintain patient records accurately in electronic medical records systems.
  • Process patient payments and insurance claims while ensuring compliance with office policies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any concerns promptly.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
