Description:
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assisting in the completion of all necessary forms/documentation and data collection
- Answering/ managing phone calls and providing information to patients
- Booking/scheduling /registration of patients
- Communicating with other dental offices/labs
- General administration duties including billing and preparation of claim forms
- Mailing of statements and arrangement of payment schedules
- Maintenance of the reception area
- Contacting patients regarding treatment plans
- Safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality
- Confirming appointments with patients and giving reminder calls
- Ability to maintain a short cancel list to fill the schedule when necessary
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
PRIOR DENTAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Strong team player
- Excellent organization skills
- Computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel etc.)
- Proficiency in Maxident or similar dental software is an asset. Additional training in Maxident will be provided
- High school diploma
