JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and enhancing the patient experience as we are an extremely busy practice.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a dental or medical setting is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using office software and technology; familiarity with dental software SOE is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Process patient payments and manage billing enquiries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area, reflecting the high standards of our practice.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the dental team.
