SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Expected to help set up the day, communicate well with your peers, clinicians, management team and patients.
  • Proven record of exemplary service.
  • Have good face to face as well as telephone skills.
  • Be able to work well within a team, as well as have the ability to be proactive when working alone.
  • Have experience handling cash, report printing and adhering to deadlines.
  • Be flexible and willing to cover holiday/sickness as and when necessary.
  • Have at least 1 years customer facing service experience.
  • Have a high level of accuracy
  • Have a professional and friendly manner, which must be maintained at all times

    We are looking for someone who excels at customer service and organisation. You will be an approachable person with an outgoing personality, but also a high level of professionalism and maturity.

Experience:

  • Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (required)

Responsibilities:

  • Deal with patient enquiries and bookings, manage the diaries of the practitioners, and ensure that the patient journey is flawless from start to finish.
  • Build rapport with the patients throughout their journey.
  • Deliver patient consultation treatment plan.
  • Perform other general administrative tasks as required.
  • Coordinate patient care with clinicians and therapists
  • Manage patient records and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Assist with clinic duties such as opening and closing the practice.
  • Managing the payment options.
  • Monitor and update spreadsheets.
  • Experience in dental and particularly orthodontics dentistry would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of working within a Patient Experience Journey.
  • To log all new referrals onto our computer system
  • To scan patient notes
    Further duties will entail covering reception & liaising with various team members. Most importantly, you will manage the journey for new patients from the initial inquiry to a successful acceptance of treatment.
