Premium Dental Lab is located in Ripley, Queensland, 35 minutes west of Brisbane and we’re looking for some technicians skilled in Ceramics and Digital Design to add to our team. Established only 4 years ago, Premium Dental Lab has quickly grown into one of the biggest labs in the country and are looking to further grow our team of Dental Technicians to keep up with the demand of our ever growing customer base.
Our lead ceramic technicians are highly sought after amongst dentists and are keen and willing to mentor, teach and guide younger technicians, to help them become incredible ceramists in their own right. This position will provide opportunities to learn high level techniques for colour matching, texture, staining and layering, to achieve incredible results with a vast array of case types. This will be a phenomenal opportunity for a technician with the right attitude to take their work to the next level. Though not far from Brisbane, the lab’s location is classified “regional” for immigration purposes. We are open to sponsorship for the right candidates.
The lab has a high emphasis on digital workflows with all our crown & bridge work (ceramics), and implant restorations, both single and full arch, but finishes with high level staining and ceramics. We are looking for experienced technicians in each of these areas, namely Digital Design and Ceramics.
For Digital Design applicants, experience with exocad and 3shape is highly valued. Ideally candidates would have at least 3 years experience in this area.
A full position description will be provided to the right candidates, however a framework for the positions are as follows:
Dental Technician (Ceramist)*
- Ceramic technicians should be familiar with digital workflows, including digital tooth design, have a high understanding of tooth anatomy and colouring, and be skilled in trimming and fitting crowns, staining and glazing, and layering ceramic.
*A Senior Ceramist will perform ceramic work at an extremely high level, and be willing and able to teach and train less experienced dental technicians.
Dental Technician (Digital Design)
- Digital Design technicians, have a sound understanding of anterior aesthetics and tooth morphology, experience with digital design software (3Shape, Inlab experience highly valued), produce a high standard of digital crown and bridge designs including implant supported crowns and bridges, understand and be able to manage 3d printing and milling processes. Implant planning and surgical guide experience also highly valued.
The positions available are full time for 38 hours per week. We are offering excellent remuneration and work conditions, in a comfortable environment and with a great team. This is a position that will allow you to build a career. Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Salary will range from $60,000 to $100,000 depending on the applicant’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
