Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
This specific role to have a team ‘people’ focus to support the development of departmental initiatives that support new and existing team members, with recruitment support, onboarding, monitoring appraisal outputs, L&D and progression.
DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS ACTIVITIES – SUPPORTING ROLE:
- Material prep, chair and/or minute meetings across the group, such as team meetings and escalation meetings and cascade meeting minutes/actions to appropriate stakeholders.
- Develop useful departmental templates and ‘how to’ guides and consider means and methods of document and storage with easy retrieval for the department.
- Maintain plans, schedules, orders and process documentation within the Engineering domain.
- Develop and administer departmental planning activities, including reports for engineering demand, allocations and bookings.
- Support task creation and tracking, to measure delivery effectiveness.
- Administrate departmental and project KPIS/metrics and aiding the reporting thereof.
- Create methods to give visibility of annual leave, travel, secondments, and place of work.
