Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manages day-to-day activities with respect to scheduling and managing the department’s backlog of projects.
- Responsible for efficient operation of the department and meeting customer service requirements
- Foundational understanding of evaluating electrical products in accordance with nationally recognized electrical safety standards (CSA, UL, IEC, etc.) as dictated by business requirements.
- Work to grow all aspects of our Electrical Departments business.
- General understanding of Electrical testing, inspection and certification services.
- Responsible to help grow our overall Electrical program, including scope and revenue
- Participate and take the required technical lead during audits as required.
- Participation in other areas of electrical operations
- Become familiar with QAI’s quality system and administrative procedures.
- Interact effectively and professionally with customer and staff, as required.
- Ensure work complies with QAI’s quality system
- Travel throughout Canada and the USA as business dictates.
- Be part of an energetic team with a can-do attitude.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager or its designe
