JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach ETEC 6440: Instructional Design II, an advanced course focused on the application of instructional design models and procedures to produce high-quality instructional materials. The course emphasizes practical, hands-on experiences in designing, developing, and evaluating instructional content using established instructional design theories. The instructor will guide students in applying advanced methodologies to real-world instructional challenges. This is a hybrid course utilizing both in-person and synchronous online meetings. Therefore, the instructor should be able to create engaging in-person and online learning environments and deliver them effectively.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or higher in Instructional Design and Technology or a related field.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in hand by time of appointment. (Master’s Degree or higher)
- Online teaching experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with carrying out instructional design projects for clients.
- Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation is valued. Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level is preferred and should be noted in application.
