DEPLOYMENT AND BUILD ENGINEER (PLATFORM DEPLOYMENT & SUPPORT)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Deployment and Build Engineer (Platform Deployment & Support) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Requirements:

• 2-5 years of professional experience with:
• Jenkins;
• Maven;
• Bitbucket;
• GitHub;
• AWS and CI/CD tools;
• Linux OS;
• Java 7, 8, 11+;
• Sonar;
• Queue (ActiveMQ);
• Unix scripts;
• Databases: Oracle 12c &19c (index, IOPS, basic query), PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB;

• Assist with deploying builds, configure the QA environment, and deploy to the production environment.
• Maintain the scripts that require periodic maintenance (there are currently scripts that exist to perform the deployment to QA).
• After every deployment, perform a sanity test to ensure the environment is available for the QA test cycle.
• Learn the tools, processes, and basics of the applications being deployed.
• Integrate the deployment process into the target state CI/CD.
• Work on Oracle and Postgres dump loads on non-prod environments.
• Triage, analyze, and resolve all the issues during the B&D
