Description:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Sound understanding of the regulatory framework for Funds (UCITS/Non-UCITS)
  • Knowledge of, or familiarity of Cashflow Monitoring or other related Depositary activities.
  • Ability to allocate workloads appropriately to ensure client and regulatory requirements are met within agreed deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

LEVEL OF EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Degree qualified
  • Relevant funds industry experience;

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Reporting to AVP in Depositary, this position is an opportunity for a suitable candidate to gain exposure to Cashflow Monitoring and also other areas of Depositary activities and management experience, to assist in the formulation and implementation of Depositary policy and procedures in a key department and changing regulatory environment. Previous experience in Cashflow Monitoring would be a distinct advantage in addition to strong technical IT skills. Role will be based in Kilkenny office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervision of an Cashflow Monitoring team members in their review of all monitoring responsibilities including Significant cashflow, cash reconciliation oversight;
  • To ensure timely and proper completion of tasks of team members;
  • Review and comment on draft prospectuses and financial statements;
  • Appraising performance of team members;
  • Devising work programmes and schedules;
  • Ensuring issues are resolved timely or escalated accordingly;
  • Responding to internal and client queries in timely manner;
  • Creating and updating Depositary policies and procedures;
  • Assist the AVP with compliance/fiduciary reviews, controls and audits as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with delegated and internal service teams to ensure that services provided are in line with client expectations and legal and regulatory commitments. Promote open communication between Ireland teams, COEs and Shared Services to meet client and regulatory requirements.
