EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma required
  • A University or Community College degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with various computer systems for the analysis of data.
  • Proven independent work experience.
  • Direct calibration experience in handling, calibrating, or maintaining equipment in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Calibrate, adjust, and maintain electrical, thermodynamic, electromechanical, mechanical, and photometric/optical measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.
  • Work from verbal and written instructions and information supplemented by technical job knowledge and experience.
  • Participate in inter-laboratory comparisons and validation activities.
  • Prepare calibration data reports, data sheets, and other required documentation.
  • Resolve problems through speaking with customers, vendors, and management.
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Maintain equipment data management.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES VITAL TO PERFORM RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to self-manage and determine priorities.
  • Proficiency with computer tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • This position requires no travel.
