EDUCATION
- High School Diploma required
- A University or Community College degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Experience with various computer systems for the analysis of data.
- Proven independent work experience.
- Direct calibration experience in handling, calibrating, or maintaining equipment in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calibrate, adjust, and maintain electrical, thermodynamic, electromechanical, mechanical, and photometric/optical measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.
- Work from verbal and written instructions and information supplemented by technical job knowledge and experience.
- Participate in inter-laboratory comparisons and validation activities.
- Prepare calibration data reports, data sheets, and other required documentation.
- Resolve problems through speaking with customers, vendors, and management.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Maintain equipment data management.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES VITAL TO PERFORM RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to self-manage and determine priorities.
- Proficiency with computer tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- This position requires no travel.
