Description:
Sugar Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Depot Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity, based at our North Fremantle, WA site. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will play a crucial part in ensuring all customer orders of Sugar Australia products are produced and delivered in full, on time, and to a high standard.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in daily dispatch management, generating and administering pallet exchange documents, and ensuring accurate data entry within the pallet control system.
- Planning and storing stock efficiently, managing product container traffic, and participating in daily cycle counts.
- Effectively managing the labelling of stock to ensure the correct product information is linked to pallet contents.
- Conducting daily micro sampling, brix analysis, and managing reverse osmosis (RO) readings and liquid sugar production.
- Identifying and repairing damaged pallets, adhering to GMP and hygiene requirements, and engaging in annual HACCP training.
- Proactively contributing to the site improvement program and business safety initiatives.

This role is perfect for someone with excellent organisational and customer service skills, who takes initiative and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Forklift Licence with a minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a forklift.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Exposure to track and trace scanning systems and Inventory Management Systems.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Ability to adapt to changing situations, communicate effectively, and work well in a team
