He/She will lead in formulating strategy and implementing activities to support and collaborate in clinical trial projects, as well as initiate new clinical research networks led by prominent Singapore clinical key opinion leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimisation of SCRI’s Clinical Trial Operations and Networks Strategy
SCRI has been supporting the administration and conduct of clinical trials for the last 16 years. These include investigator-initiated trials (IITs) in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific Region. The Deputy Director Clinical Operations & Research Networks will be tasked to optimise and manage SCRI’s strategy for the support of Singapore and regional clinical trials for the near and mid-term future. These will include investigator-initiated clinical trials conducted in Singapore as well as the current 12 local and regional clinical research networks supported by SCRI. He/She will also be asked to initiate and support new clinical trial networks themed around diseases that are prominent in Singapore and the region.
- Provide Oversight of SCRI’s Clinical Research Networks units
The support that SCRI provides for our clinical research networks is from three operational units: The Clinical Research Networks group, the Programme Management group and the Academic Research Organisation group.
