Description:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Management; A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Financial Accounting at supervisory/management level. A valid code B (or higher) driving license. NB People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
Responsibilities:
The Western Cape Mobility Department has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to manage the Subdirectorate Financial Accounting, develop, review and implement financial accounting systems and procedures in line with relevant legislation, regulations, frameworks and departmental policies and procedures. The person must have the ability to work under pressure, willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines.
