Description:
We are recruiting a Deputy Director of Strategy to help lead the NHS England Strategy Team. You would join our growing team at an important time for shaping the future direction of the NHS.
At the heart of strategic development in NHS England, the team works across directorates to inform strategic decisions and shape policies. The team:
- Supporting the Chief Executive and the Board in developing medium and long term NHS strategy, working closely with partners across the NHS
- Leads strategic reviews of specific services or policies, in partnership with responsible teams in NHS England and often with the Department of Health and Social Care – some recent examples include the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, national elective recovery strategy and Fuller Stocktake of integrated primary care.
- Leads the strategy profession across NHS England
