Description:

Are you an excellent people manager with an ability to shape and influence service change? Do you have the proven ability to translate a challenging, fast moving and complex agenda to the division?
Pragmatic, positive and persuasive, you will be adept at dealing with conflicting agendas and the challenging decisions that the division is often faced with. Motivation, enthusiasm and a dynamic approach are key requirements for the post.
In return, the post offers an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking, innovative and ambitious Division. Providing services to a catchment population of circa. 500,000 you will provide a key role in driving the division’s response to both the non-elective and elective patient demands. The post offers the necessary exposure and development for those seeking a Divisional Director of Operations position.
There are two posts available, one with the Family and Specialist Services division and one within the Medicine division.
The Deputy Divisional Director of Operations is responsible for the effective operational delivery of services within the Division. The role is a key leadership position in the Division, overseeing the core delivery of performance and managing the Divisional escalation and mitigation practices.
