Description:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in non-life insurance company, in marketing or underwriting
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese as well as English for interactions with Head Office colleagues
  • Profound understanding of the Japanese culture and good understanding of the local workplace culture
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakehold management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior management in areas of underwriting and claim through close communication with the parent company in Japan and MSIG Group companies
  • Growing MSIG group synergy business through facultative reinsurance of large and complex risks
  • Facilitating global/regional program for both Japanese and non-Japanese multi-national companies
  • Conducting research and analysis on general insurance markets across Asian countries
  • Collaborating with MSIG group company/organisation in digital transformation initiatives
  • Reporting to Head Office in Japan
