DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - THE INUA COLLECTION HOSPITALITY GROUP
Tullamore Court Hotel part of The iNUA Collection is a leading name in the hospitality industry, dedicated to providing unparalleled guest experiences across a diverse portfolio of hotels. We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at one of our prestigious hotels within The iNUA Collection.
The Deputy General Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in the overall management and operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and driving business growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years of experience in hotel management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
- Sound financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
- Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front and back of house functions.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Collaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Guest Experience: Maintain the highest standards of guest service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable and personalised experience.
- Financial Performance: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimise revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines to guarantee a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of growth and career progression.
- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance the hotel’s reputation and drive repeat business.
- Crisis Management: Act decisively and effectively in handling any emergencies or crises that may arise, prioritising the safety and well-being of guests and team members.
