Deputy Head of Midwifery and Nursing

This role would suit someone who has a significant amount of experience within maternity services , leading, managing and motivating clinical teams in continually improving the way they work for the benefits of their patients, families and staff. Clinical credibility and a strong track-record of improving midwifery and nursing care standards, patient experience and continuous CQC preparation are also essential. Supporting the Divisional Director of Midwifery and Nursing, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational development across a range of portfolios. Interested applicants should have proven senior midwifery and nursing experience including leading multiple clinical teams. You will demonstrate significant change management and service development experience. If successful, this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary.
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
