Description:
DEPUTY HEAD OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
ICF Next, one of Europe’s leading integrated communication agencies, is seeking a dynamic Deputy Head of Project Management to support the delivery of large-scale campaigns for clients across the European Union. In this critical leadership role, you will work closely with the Head of Project Management to drive the successful development and implementation of various projects and services within the Project Management Team.
Responsibilities:
- Resource Management: Oversee traffic management for the Project Management team, collaborating with Account Directors to allocate and forecast resources efficiently.
- Prince 2 Methodology Implementation: Ensure the consistent application of Prince 2 methodology by providing training, guidance, follow-up, and monitoring to the team.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor project managers throughout project set-up, execution, and closure, ensuring high standards and adherence to timelines.
- Project Oversight: Monitor project execution to maintain compliance with established standards and deadlines, ensuring quality delivery.
- Support & Administration: Assist the Project Management team with procedural and administrative inquiries, providing clear and timely support.
- Training & Development: Organize and schedule training sessions on an ad-hoc and annual basis, identifying and facilitating relevant internal and external workshops.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and the implementation of best practices within the team.
- Reporting: Ensure regular project and client status updates are provided by Campaign Managers to Account Directors, and report regularly to the Head of Project Management.
- Additional Responsibilities: Propose and implement new methodologies and efficient working practices, including project management tools. Foster effective collaboration between Account Directors and other departments within ICF Next. Support performance evaluations and recruitment efforts for the Campaign Management Team. Contribute to marketing activities related to the team’s projects. Assist the Business Development team with tender preparation and related requests.
