Description:
Under the direction of the Deputy Labor Commissioner IV (Regional Manager), the Senior Deputy is responsible for supervising, planning, organizing, and reviewing the work of team members as well as offer ongoing training and education. In addition, the Senior Deputy collaborates with other programs and stakeholders to promote education and access for the public and bring forth labor law enforcement awareness.
We enforce the law by setting a standard of fair and expeditious resolution of claims to achieve long-term compliance from the employers of the State of California. By providing education and meaningful enforcement of wage and hour laws, we combat wage theft and ensure that wages earned are put into the pockets of the workers.

High-volume fast-paced office that handles wage claims and constantly interfaces with the public. Ability to work irregular hours consistent with operational needs.
