[What the role is]
You will play an important role in providing operations and technical support for the CAAS Safety Regulation Group (SRG) to ensure that aviation safety is safeguarded and well-managed. You will be working in a dynamic environment to bring satisfaction to members of public who uses CAAS systems to process regulatory documents. You will have the opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders across various domains.
[What you will be working on]
You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of CAAS System such as Enterprise Safety Oversight Management System (eSOMS), which is the one-stop online portal for safety regulatory applications. The scope of work includes identifying areas for improvement, development of and implementing enhanced processes, user account administration and providing timely responses to queries. As part of the SRG team, you will also be responsible in ensuring website information on safety regulatory matters are kept up to date and monitor status of inspections and safety investigations. In addition, you will also support key SRG safety analysis work through performing data extraction, data consolidation, basic report generation and trend analysis. You will also be involved in developing and enhancing work processes to achieve greater efficiency and systemic improvements to front-facing IT systems.

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 3 years of working experience in process improvement, system management and operational support
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Knowledge in Six Sigma, process mapping and analysis would be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, should be self-motivated and able to work independently

Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
