Description:

Under the supervision of the Home Manager, your role will be to supervise and lead a team to deliver excellent standards of care to residents and their families.
Care will be carried out in accordance with individual care plans, whilst promoting privacy and dignity, enhancing independence, rehabilitation and personal choice. At times you will be responsible for the overall management of the home in the absence of the Home Manager, including on call. You will have had a minimum of 2 years in a Senior Nursing role.

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To lead and motivate a team to deliver special experiences to residents, which promote choice and independence that make a positive difference to their daily lives
  • Achieve the highest possible standards of care to enhance the resident experience by ensuring colleagues meet the individual needs of residents in accordance with company policy, regulations and Codes of Conduct and individual care plans.
  • To implement care home policies formulated directed towards high standards of resident care, staff welfare and training, and ensure the good reputation of the business in co-operation with the Home Manager. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care of residents.
  • Ensure treatments are carried out as prescribed.
  • As an experienced Senior Nurse you may be ready to step up into your next role.
