YOUR QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operation practices
  • A comprehensive knowledge of relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures
  • Knowledge of management systems
  • Five years relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position
  • A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education acceptable to Austro Control GmbH. “Relevant engineering degree” means an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components
  • Experience with ATR aircraft is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience in aircraft systems and/or engineering
  • Interested in aviation regulations, compliance, technical manuals, aircraft maintenance programmes and directives
  • Effective usage of IT systems
  • Strong MS Office and database user skills
  • Highly Interested to work digitally
  • Fluent language skills in English written and spoken, German language skills are an asset
  • Accurate working style
  • Good communication skills in writing and verbally in a technical environment
  • Database and Power BI skills are an asset
  • EU citizenship or existing EU working permit is a requirement

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee airworthiness tasks for our fleet of ATR turboprop aircraft and support maintenance Line Stations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing with qualified personnel, equipped with necessary theoretical and practical training and facilities.
  • Develop and control maintenance programs, including applicable reliability programs, for the managed aircraft.
  • Manage the approval process for modifications and repairs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that all ZAA technical records comply with Part-M requirements
  • Plan and monitor work activities, ensuring technical tasks are completed effectively
  • Ensure completion of modifications (e.g., SB, SIL) according to approved standards, and verify Certificates of Release to Service issued by Part-145 approved organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational and airworthiness directives from ACG, EASA, and the Type Certificate Holder.
  • Report maintenance-related occurrences to ACG and aircraft manufacturers, including both mandatory and non-mandatory events.
  • Manage and amend the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) as needed.
  • Oversee and supervise line and base maintenance projects, from inception to completion, including documentation.
  • Implement and enforce airworthiness limitations.
  • Review and implement any additional ACG national requirements as applicable.
  • Establish and maintain a robust continuing airworthiness policy.
  • Ensure pre-flight inspections are completed and that any defects or damages are addressed or deferred according to approved standards.
  • Track and manage items transferred to the Hold Item List (HIL).
  • Analyse and enhance the effectiveness of the maintenance program.
  • Ensure timely renewal of Airworthiness Review Certificates to maintain validity.
  • Oversee and manage mass and balance requirements for the fleet.
  • Establish and manage relationships with Part-145 maintenance contractors, including the setup and review of maintenance contracts.
  • Establish a policy for non-mandatory modification embodiments.
  • Verify that Navigation Databases from approved providers are received and distributed within the AIRAC cycle.
  • Ensure timely completion of all CAMO inspections.
