Leighton Rose Care Home Opening Spring 2024
Our brand new care home state-of-the-art new care home opening in Spring 2024. Contemporary in design and utilising the latest in health and care technology, the home will offer generously proportioned en-suite accommodation for 71 residents and person-centric care of the highest standards.
Purpose designed and built with expertise and meticulous attention to detail, Leighton Rose will offer first-class facilities and we are looking for a first-class team to match. We are currently recruiting for a Nurse Deputy to join our rapidly growing of experts.
Who we are looking for:-
Someone with:
· Experience of working in the deputy manager role would be desirable
· An active NMC pin (essential)
· Full UK driving license (preferred)
· Person centred approach to care
· Good understanding of the regulatory framework
· Clinical excellence with up-to-date clinical practices
· Ability to produce well developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Someone who can:
· Support for the Home Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives.
· Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals.
· Liaise with the Home Manager across the range of operational activities such as; assume responsibility for managing the Home during the manager’s absences, marketing the Home to existing and potential residents and relatives, planning rota’s and adhering to budgets.
· Take the lead in supporting the Home Manager with the staff team’s inductions, appraisals and performance
· To support the Home Manager in keeping with the ethos of Macc Care Homes from beginning to end including completing person centred assessments and support plans, recruitment and development of team, marketing, stakeholder engagement and implementing efficient and effective systems and processes that provide the foundations towards an Outstanding service for our service users.
· To continuously monitor the operations of the service, evaluate them and where improvements can be made take the necessary action to implement change through negotiation and agreement.
· To ensure that all necessary records are complete, accurate and legible, and available to authorised persons when required.
· To evaluate the team’s overall development needs (including the manager’s own needs), encourage all personnel to assist in this evaluation, discuss and plan for how identified needs are met.
· To act up in the absence of the Registered Manager.
· Drawing on your experience as a nurse, you’ll provide day to day support and guidance to our team of nurses - promoting our residents’ independence, choice and dignity
